$10 from YP’s Deal of the Day!

YPYP (yellowpages.com) is on the verge of launching a great new Deal of the Day service in Dallas to help you guys save more on daily needs, like lunch or gym memberships, and many great family-friendly deals.

The service will work just like many of the other Deal of the Day sites that you are familiar with. Each day you will receive an email containing a great deal from a local establishment. You can choose to take advantage of the deal, or pass and wait to see what pops up tomorrow.

YP Deal of the Day

I used one of these before Valentine’s day of this year and got half off the flowers I purchased. When used to help find the best price on things you are already purchasing (a favorite restaurant, golf green fees, etc), the Deal of the Day sites can be useful. As with any “deal” though, avoid letting them drive your purchase decisions.

I think YP, the leader in local search, is positioned well to make these Deals even better than some of the existing companies in this space. I’m excited to see what they have to offer. Especially on their launch. Be sure to sign up with them before June 14th so you’ll see those first few deals that get announced.

Just signed up. I'm not located in Dallas, but I have some good friends who live there. :)
