Two tips I want to suggest:- For books, toys, cds, trading cards - I find amazon to be a better place to sell. You can list things they have for free at any price and it is up for a longer period of time. Plus all the information is generic so it takes less prep time. I feel like things go faster there and it is less of the 'junk' I have to think about.- Also if your stuff is cheap enough that you can post it for free on ebay do so. Or do what I do and have everything saved and list it as soon as ebay announces a 'free listing' deal to avoid paying upfront costs. Especially during these times, feel free to list the same thing over and over. I've relisted my items 4-5 times thinking it was stupid because it wasn't wanted and sure enough there is suddenly a person who is looking for exactly what you are selling.

I have actually been making rent by selling things online to help my boyfriend and his mom clean out the house. A light bulb went off in my head and I started buying broken lcd tvs off of craigslist, fixing and flipping for a couple hundred profit. If you know how to fix something, there is definitely money to be made of of "junk".-Rex

great suggestions!

I had an lcd tv go out because some capacitors blew up…if you can solder, it is a $4 fix.
