We have not been able to go there yet, even though our TV watching time has gone down substantially since we had kids. Maybe you won't switch it back on when your child is born. Maybe you will wait until the time when your child will ask for TV due to peer pressure. But that much cable-free time would save you a heck of a lot of money.
