Now that we live together in Japan we each pay a percentage of the bills based on our paychecks. We split the car expenses 50/50 since she needed the car to get to work and uses it 80% of the time. @ Anastasia I couldn't agree more. My girlfriend and I talk about that a lot and we couldn't imagine life dating someone who views money differently. It definitely helps keep things smooth if you're on the same wave length.
