A Tool To Find The Cheapest Gas Price

After you’ve used up all the Tips to Cut Fuel Costs, check out this neat tool from Automotive.com.  This tool can help you find local stations (in your zip code) with the the cheapest gas prices. “With fuel costs increasing to all-time highs this comparison tool will be very useful to help you save money.”

How to Use the Tool

Just enter your zip code in the toll below and you’ll be taken to a page showing the locations in your zip code for the cheapest gas prices.

Thanks for the mention! I’ll have to check out that tool. Gas is up over $4 lately by me.

For me it isn’t really worth it. To fill up, its only 10 gallons. At the most the price differences are .10. So the most I could save is $1. I am not really willing to drive far just to save this dollar. I only fill up once a month or so b/c I don’t drive a lot anyhow.

@ffb – no problem…it’s a shame the tool isn’t working…seems to be broken on my end.???

@pete – no worries…my pleasure.

@david – good point…i think a lot is made over a few cents. if you know your daily commute though, it’s nice to see the spots you’d want to make a habit of stopping…assuming a cheaper place is typically the cheapest, and it doesn’t go back and forth.
