Ford Test Drive $50 Best Buy Gift Card

This past January I wrote that I was Getting a $50 Best Buy Gift Card for Test Driving a Ford.  Well, I finally received the gift card in the mail.  That was the easiest $50 I’ve ever made.  Did anyone else get their’s yet?

How Should I Spend It?

Next step for me is to come up with something to use it on.  My original plan was to purchase Rock Band for our Play Station 2.  However, since that time, a close friend purchased Rock Band and I’ve been tempted by the positive reviews of the Nintendo Wii, including the new Wiifit.

Looks like the Wiifit doesn’t come out till late May.  It’s listed at Best Buy for $89.  The basic Nintendo Wii System is priced at $249.  In total, that would mean around $288 (89+249-50).  That still seems like too much for just a game.  Of course, I could skip the Wiifit game and just buy the basic console for $199.

If I went the Rock Band route, it would be $109 (159-50) since I already have the PS2.  Not bad.  What should I do?  Anyone tried both games?

Rock Bank is, by far, the most fun I have EVER had with friends playing video games. At parties, once it gets too cold to hang out outside playing games, we move inside and turn on Rock Band – one on drums, two on guitar/bass and one singer. We all laugh REALLY hard and have a blast. I haven’t played WiiFit but I’d like to try it when it comes out. I assume within the year I’ll own both myself, but I’m not ready to buy yet ;)
