AP – Rates on 30-year mortgages edged lower for the third week out of the past four, reflecting further evidence that slower economic growth will help keep inflation in check.

Reuters – Oh sure, anybody can get a free credit report. But there’s a world of other information about you out there which goes far beyond that. What’s your credit score? Your insurance score? Could you get a good car loan?

Bank of America eliminates closing costs (AP)

AP – Achieving the American dream of home ownership has never been as simple as just paying for the house itself. There are always the closings costs to pay for, too.

We just happen to bank with BOA. This deal was only offered to their customers prior to this announcement. I wonder if they’ve upped the ante for their customers?
